Kerry Harding brings more than twenty-five years of experience in strategic consulting with architecture firms across the United States. Combining a five-year professional degree from Ball State University's College of Architecture and Planning with an MBA in marketing, he has served as the executive director of the Professional Services Management Association and in executive positions with such firms as Greenhorne & OMara, Cooper Lecky Architects (now part of HDR) and Hillier, a national architecture, interior design, engineering and landscape architecture consulting firm (now RMJM/Hillier).
As the former managing editor and, currently, as a consulting editor for DesignIntelligence, he has written and reported frequently on strategies for growth and change as well as other strategic management issues affecting architectural, engineering and interior design firms. In addition, he has authored more than 200 articles for the design professions and produced publications on ownership transition, recruiting, marketing, and management issues for the Professional Services Management Association, the Society for Marketing Professional Services and as editor for Indianapolis Landscape Architecture, published by the Landscape Architectural Foundation. He was named Distinguished Alumnus of the Year by the Ball State College of Architecture and Planning and currently represents the College on the Universitys National Philanthropy Council and is its alumni recruiting representative for the Mid-Atlantic region.
Based in the Washington, DC area, Harding serves as President and Chief Recruiting Officer of The Talent Bank, Inc. an executive recruiting and management consulting firm founded in 1984, which specializes exclusively in recruiting architects and other design professionals; and as a senior consultant with Greenway Consulting, an Atlanta-based managing consulting firm for design and engineering firms. He is active in various design-related organizations as well as numerous religious, civic and philanthropic activities.
